Sri Ramana Jayanthi
Sri Ramana Maharshi Center for Learning in Bangalore conducted many competitions
for children in Tiruvannamalai district schools about Sri Ramana Maharishi.
Our school children participated and won 5 prizes in the competitions. The
prize distribution was held in the Sri Ramanashramam on 16. 12. 2005 at 5:00
PM. Our school children participated in the function and received the prizes.
Sri Ramana Jayanthi was celebrated in the school on 19. 12. 2005 at 9:00 AM.
The children and the teacher performed a pooja with the singing of Aksharamanamalai.
After that, prasadam was distributed to all. At 11:00 AM the Ramananjali group
from Bangalore gave a music concert.
Mr. Natarajan, Mrs. SlochanaNatarajan, Dr. Saradha and two others participated
in the music concert. They sang the Ramanar songs for children. This music
concert was taken place in a marriage hall near to our school.
