Centering Work in Progress

Greetings from Arunachala!

The centering work is in progress in the school building construction. Two groups are engaged in this work. One group is working from the beginning of the building to the portico. The other group is moving from the portico to the other end of the building. They will take one more week to finish this work. The steel structural frame work for the roof and the beams will be started in the coming week.

More supports are needed!

'My Birth Day,' Books and Uniforms Distributed

My Birth Day was celebrated on 15th July. Books and uniforms were distributed to the sponsor students on the same day. Higher class students and teachers gathered at 8 in the morning at the new school site. Ganapathi Homam and Abishekam were performed to the Sri Vidya Ganapathi.

Books and uniforms were distributed to the sponsor students at 10:50 AM. Few general books only issued to the students, because the State Government has still not prescribed proper text books to the schools.

After this, pupils and the teachers chanted Gayatri Mantra 108 times. Then all visted the new building construction foundation and had prasadam. When the pupils went around the foundation, a few of them murmured that there should be a swimming pool. I replied them that it might come. All the children had lattu (sweet) in the school.

Now the beams centering work is going on. This work is divided into two and so it’s given to two groups to finish it soon. This will take 10 to 15 days time. As the same way steel structural frame work also will be given to two groups to finish it as quick as possible.
